My friend, Autumn Rachel Dryden, is probably known to most of you as the voice of Prof McGonagall from the Methods of Rationality podcast. A number of years ago she wrote a short story called "Respite", originally published in IGMS and soon to be included in the "Beyond The Sun" anthology.
