Friendship is Optimal: I never finished this, but it's the first ponyfic rationalists mention. CelestAI's goal is to convince all equinity to upload. The fic's argument is that restricting a superintelligent AI from doing anything to anyone that they don't consent to is pointless, because a superintelligent AI can convince anyone of anything.
A Change in Three Parts: An earth pony who always wanted to be a unicorn, figures out how to become one. The rulers decide this knowledge must be suppressed, for all the usual reasons. Argument and drama ensue. GaPJaxie wrote this before he turned evil.
